Online bookings can also be made from the HotDoc smart phone app, which is available on the Apple App Store or Google Play. After downloading the app please register and nominate Armstrong Street Medical Centre as your general practice and allow notification so that you can receive SMS appointment reminders and notifications. Armstrong Street Medical Centre is on the corner of Armstrong Street and Neville Street in Middle Park, adjacent to the vibrant cafe and retail precinct of Middle Park Village, located between the beach and Albert Parklands and Lake. The clinic is 5 km from the Melbourne CBD. There is ample street parking nearby. Tram routes 12 and 96, and bus route 606 have stops nearby.
Armstrong Street Medical Centre has been purpose built, in order to establish a high quality, modern Family Practice. There is a wheelchair ramp entrance from Neville Street for patients with impaired mobility and an intercom those who may require assistance. The clinic has disabled toilet facilities. A covered outdoor area has been set up in the rear courtyard of the clinic for the assessment of patients with viral symptoms in view of the COVID-19 pandemic to help prevent the spread of infectious diseases.
Armstrong Street Medical Centre is an accredited General Practice. Accreditation with AGPAL is an independent recognition that Armstrong Street Medical Centre is committed to delivering safe and high quality health care to its patients.
The doctors are independent practitioners who run their own businesses. Armstrong Street Medical Centre provides facilities and administrative support to the doctors and allied health practitioners who provide health care at the clinic. The doctors provide a wide range of medical services including comprehensive family health, women’s health, children’s health, older people’s health, men’s health, veteran’s health, travel medicine, mental health care, chronic disease management, skin cancer checks, sexual and reproductive health, medical assessments, immunisations, sporting and work-related injury care and preventative health care.
The practice nurses participate in chronic disease management, wound care, immunisation, 24-hour blood pressure monitoring, infection control, recalls and reminders and health promotion in conjunction with our doctors.
Australian Clinical Laboratories provides in-clinic walk-in pathology collection services on Tuesday and Thursday 9 am to 1pm. A valid pathology referral from your doctor is required for this.
